HB1154 AND HB1166 submitted by House Speaker Madigan would:
HB1154 Amendment 1:
• Eliminates COLAs for retirees
HB1154 Amendment 2:
• Eliminates COLAs for retirees until pension system is 80% funded
HB1165 Amendment 1:
• Raisees the retirement age for current workers and penalize those who choose to collect their pension before age 67
HB1166 Amendment 1:
• Requires active workers to pay an additional 5% of salary toward their pension
